This isn't one of the most popular themes these days but is definitely one of the most fun. It's something you can really play around with and something I've had a few guys coming to me in a panic over recently.
Now, if you are going to go full cowboy you do need a longer jacket with button down patch pockets, boot cut trousers and the bolo or Texan tie with gaudy slide. It's never going to be a suit that can transfer into a work day staple but what the hell, you'll look great for the big day. Ultimate Cowboy suit!

If you're aim is something a little more subtle and reuseable think about picking aspects that nod to theme without being over powering. Go with classic and not too slim suiting making the accessories wild; cowboy hat being a must.
Everything you never knew about the bolo tie info graphic.
Other wise make sure you've got you lasso handy in case your filly tries to get away!

We saw him start his career as a young teenage boy in the hilarious Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Where he played a mischievous rogue sent to exclusive Bel Air, in Los Angeles to live with his wealthy Aunt and Uncle.
This look would certainly turn heads, and highlights the importance of a bright lining as sported by Will above - just in case you ever find yourself wearing your jacket inside-out. Although I don't recommend wearing a tie on your head, I do like the preppy 'school' look blazer Will has on - perfect for a casual evening out.
Over the years Will's style has matured, first seen in the Men in Black movie. Where he sports a, you guessed it, black suit throughout the movie.
Here he has a classic black suit with crisp, white shirt and skinny black tie. A suit that will certainly still look sharp in ten years time!
A particularly unusual look that Will went for in the first movie was a Nehru jacket - seen below.
Will has never been shy with his tailoring, especially for his red carpet appearances. Below are a few of his looks from over the years.
Here Will is at the Hancock premiere. This three-piece checked suit has the stand-out factor. The jacket has two buttons and has a ticket pocket on the left side. The trousers even have turn-ups which are a great addition. This fabric looks great as both a suit and jacket , check out this fabric here to make your Will inspired suit.
Above, Will is wearing a window pane checked suit, with a contrasting black waistcoat. If you don't want to wear a matching three-piece, then why not go for a contrasting coloured waistcoat. Black and grey always go well together, but you can always be more daring with a brightly coloured one too!

The iconic 90's Si-fi caper is now in it's third instalment with even more alien busting action and a sack full of giggles. I have fond memories of pinching my dads suit jacket and running around the house with a banana shooting imaginary aliens.
When you start to look at the cultural implications of the black suit it can come across as quite sinister but MIB takes this idea and shows us it's funnier side. The traditional conspiracy theory paints them as Illuminati style aggressors, hell bent on covering up the truth at any cost. When you combine this idea with Will Smith's quirky take on the role of Agent J the totalitarian figures become lovable rouges out to make the world a safer place. As for the fit of the suits, lets just call it the 'Classic American Look'. The boxy 3 button edifices from the 90's origonal were only slightly slimmed down for the 2002 sequel and as for the new instalment? It looks as if they have been slimmed a touch more although the opportunity to make a distinction between the fit of the modern day suits compared to those in the 60's time travel suit has been sadly missed.
Be warned however about attempting to don a black suit. Be aware of your complexion and make sure you choose wisely, this shade is not for everyone. Out of all possible colour complexions there are only three that really suit black (pun only slightly intended).
- Deep - Dark hair, pale to dark brown or olive skin, dark eyes.
- Cool - Salt and pepper hair or black, rosy or grey undertones to skin, blue/greyish or cool brown eyes.
- Clear - Dark hair, pale skin, bright solidly toned eyes.
Usefully the three leads for MIB encompass the three complexions nicely:
Will smith the deep guy
This extra cool suit he wore for the UK premiere of MIB3 is stunning and really lifts his colouring. A daring option but if your feeling bold, go for it!
Josh Brolin the clear guy
Although Brolin, as we can see from this picture is in life more of a warm (note the warm skin colouring) and it is his make up that causes the change in his complexion. If you're willing to put on a bit of slap guys you can give your self more ability to carry the suit you like that's not quite right. Just don't take it too far or you could end up looking like a bad drag act.
Tommy lee jones the cool guy
Tommy is one of those gentlemen who have changed complexion as they have grown older (not an uncommon thing) but something to bear in mind. Tommy Lee Jones being a older chap often chooses a slightly more relaxed l0ok for his premieres. I'm loving this chilled cream chino style suit matched up with blue t-shirt. Another option would be to wear the jacket with a short sleeved linen shirt for a more formal look.
