Tuesday saw the start of Royal Ascot - known for it's stringent dress code, the organisers even have dress code assistants aka 'the fashion police' this year on hand to tell you what is deemed suitable and unsuitable.
Ascot is renowned for its ladies fashion, but the gents also have to look tip-top to make it into the Royal enclosure. The official dress code for gentlemen in the Royal enclosure is strictly .
Below Jenson Button shows us how it's done. Above Button has a light weight; light grey morning coat, waistcoat and trousers on. He has paired it with a pale blue shirt and navy tie - which compliments the grey very well. At Ascot, it is also required that men are to wear top hats - so Button has a classic one to accompany his morning coat .
The Queen often attends Ascot, and this year in her Diamond Jubilee she was there to celebrate one of her favourite events of the year. Her son, Prince Charles, always impresses with his impeccable tailoring. Below is no exception.
Charles, like Jenson Button, has gone for a light grey morning coat - light grey is one of the more traditional colours for a morning coat and is also a great colour for summer. Charles has added a touch more colour to his outfit with a pocket square .
Prince Philip, the Queen's husband, also dressed up for the occasion - looking particularly dapper with a darker morning coat .
Accompanying the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh is wearing some fine tailoring with a black morning coat, creme waistcoat and pale blue shirt. He is also wearing a white pocket square to contrast the black morning coat. He must be the most dapper 90 year old in the country!
