The glamour, excitement and fashion of Formula 1 comes to Sliverstone this July (8-10th).
F1 coming to Silverstone in July The Santander, sponsored, British Grand Prix has been a sell out for the last month so expect bigger crowds then usual.
How does one stay cool but properly attired during the event, one could just take a look at Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton as they attended a mix of meetings and venues this month.

Jenson's sporting a light weight 2 piece suit in dark blue, a two button jacket with side vents and a tailored contoured fit. His trousers a slim fitting straight leg balancing the jackets narrow lapels.
 
 
Lewis, on the other hand with his darker skin tones, has gone for a light grey check fabric and a three-button jacket with side vents - again with the narrower lapels, his trousers are tapered to the cuff.
 
Both drivers have kept the accessories simple, by going for white shirts and dark contrasting ties.

With temperatures having soared lately, Silverstone turned up the heat by hosting one of Formula 1's hottest events: The British Grand Prix. If you were lucky enough to hold a ticket into the F1 paddock, you would have seen people looking and feeling cool in their smart attire.
The British Grand Prix – looking at the style Our half-lined jackets are perfect for the hot days we've been having; pairing that with one of our summer shirts would have been perfect! I would have gone for a smart casual look by wearing jeans with a linen jacket.
Equally, those feeling 'on trend' could have worn a linin jacket with some smart tailored suit-shorts. Loving this old-style picture of the race.
