With David and I both in the Bristol studio we are perfectly located to pop over to Wales or down to Devon to talk to the lovely people of Cardiff and Exeter about sartorial advice. We go to both cities twice a month, two very lovely cities, with very individual styles.
Wales has hatched a long list of interesting and stylish people and when I pop over the boarder I can't help but notice how the lovely regenerated Cardiff Bay area brings out the most dapper of gents. On my way to where I stay when I'm there I go pass the Welsh Assembly. It's a very impressive building with the very best suited and booted ladies and gents coming and going.

Wales' gents can be very contrasting, with actors like Rhys Ifans going for a more relaxed edgy look, regularly teaming rugged facial hair with a slick suit or a polo shirt with a tailored jacket.
Someone like Ioan Gruffadd though is so squeaky clean that even when he's sporting a beard and jeans he looks very put together. He can be seen a lot wearing suits and suit jackets, teaming them with relaxed scarfs and jeans to give them a more contemporary feel.
Another very famous Welsh actor is Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins again is a good example of the diverse types of style. He has a very vintage way of dressing, known to accessorise his suits with Panamas and turned up collars for a more casual feel. Although Anthony Hopkins has been know to don a bow tie he more of a smoking jacket kind of man, wearing his suit jackets with jeans for a more weekend look. He is definitely a good advert for the men of Wales Cardiff has a long history of cultural diversity brought on mainly by its docks, the now very stylish Cardiff Bay. This created a heavy influx of sailors and works from countries as contrasting as Yemeni and Spain. Now in the 21st century the diversity is being brought forward by the new student population. With the regeneration at Cardiff Bay the city is coming back to life and placing itself on the map as a place of interesting styles and culture. Cardiff Bay Exeter on the other hand is a very different city. The first thing that I noticed was what a historically beautiful city. Being from Bristol I like to think of myself as a South West girl but I have to admit that before now I hadn't been to Exeter. The South West is know for it's hippy leanings, with places like Glastonbury being stooped in legend and Cornwall regularly holding such events as The Eclipse and The Lizard Festival. Exeter on the other hand is a city of traditional beauty, with the oldest civil building in the United Kingdom.
