Yesterday saw the New York premier of the highly anticipated, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman film.
All of the stars were out in their finery and the gents did not let us down on the front. Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Joesph Gordon-Levitt were the three gents that impressed the most.
Below you can see all the cast together at the premier last night and you can see they were all looking their best.
Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman and Christopher Nolan have all opted for darker suits , which are more typical of a formal occasion - as they look very smart in the evening. Gary Oldman and Joesph Gordon-Levitt have bucked the trend and gone for lighter suits . Gary is wearing an almost bronze suit with a light sheen and Joesph is wearing a light grey suit with red accessories.
I particularly like Joesph Gordon-Levitt suit that he wore, I really like the red accessories he has gone for that contrast the suit.
Christian Bale's suit is quite different to Joesph's (above). He has gone for a dark number, which is more typical for a formal occasion like a premier. He has paired it with a white shirt and black silk tie . The two-piece even features a ticket pocket, which is becoming quite a popular extra feature on the modern suit. Bale's jacket also features peaked lapels, which will make his shoulders appear broader.
Tom Hard, like Christian, has gone for a darker more formal suit.
Tom's suit is a two-piece and has a notched lapel. He has paired the suit with a stark white shirt and dark grey silk tie .
The film is released on July 20th and is already glowing from the reviews - so it is likely to be the film to see this summer.
This three piece suit is pure elegance, Bruce Wayne (The Prince of Gotham) is probably the best dressed (fictional) character in America. The sleek lines of our (RB660-2 ) fabric mimic that of Christian Bales suit in the Dark Knight, the gunmetal lining is to perfectly complement the choice of tie that was given to this ensemble in the film.
The Waistcoat has been kept minimalistic with only two pockets on the front to reflect the sleek nature of the owner. The trousers to this suit have been given vertical pockets ( running along the side seem to maintain straight sleek lines), it has no back pockets as to not disrupt the lines and has not got any belt loops, adjusters have been put on the sides to give slight adjustments by tightening the waist. This suit is a must for the avid Batman Fan, or even for those people who want to look and feel as slick as Bruce Wayne does. Bruce Wayne has always been partial to a black tie do, so a sophisticated tuxedo/dinner jacket is an essential staple in Batmans wardrobe - see the video above.
