The presidential fold is mainstream!
Embarrassingly I was watching 'Britain's Got Talent' the other night and was checking out the. Er. Talent - when I noticed something; nearly EVERYONE on the telly was wearing a Don Draper presidential style pocket square! As I fancy myself as a bit of a trend setter, this may mean that I cannot do the presidential fold anymore as Ant, Dec, Simon, Dermot and even, dare I say it, Louie were all rocking them, meaning this detail is soon to become mainstream.

Shop Talk part 1
Today, the Style Advisors at the Sun Street branch were joined by an unlikely new Style Advisor for the morning. Aongus Hegarty, the Vice President and General Manager for Dell's Small Medium Business Division in EMEA, darned his tape measure and joined the team in our City branch, measuring and helping out a few willing volunteers create their suits at A Suit That Fits.

No more fumbling around in your pocket trying to get a grasp of your Mont Blank (or 4 bic); our fantastic New Product Development whizz, Mighel Critten, has launched a REALLY cool attribute that'll be put into all our suits for this moment onwards! On the inside of the jacket, next to the pocket, is a small slot specifically designed to hold a pen.

As I was only invented in 1984, my view of 1950's fashion is very influenced by 'Grease' and 'Happy Days', both fictional settings that, I understand from my Dad, are not that accurate. Yes there were Marlon/'The Fonz'/Zuko types around, complete with white tee, leather jacket, blue jeans and a motor bike, but the majority of gentleman were wearing the same thing.
