A Family Affair  
A very slim-fitting light grey suit; medium to lightweight cloth in blended wool - perfect for all seasons - with a cool contrasting brass colour satin lining, straight flapless pockets and a single vent. The trousers are boot cut, with no pockets - probably the most popular design for the ladies right now - and hip adjusters on the waist.

Beth was bestowed the honour of being her brother's best (wo)man, and wanted a classic grey wedding suit to complement her brothers tweed suit.

Beth carried off the look with panache and style, and was meticulous about all elements of the design and fitting process. I met with the Hawkins family no fewer than four times, and as Dave (Papa Hawkins) is an avid surfer, and keen VW camperer, we had lots to discuss in addition to Beths' fabulous suit.

Though I hope to be making garments for the younger members of the family, Brian & Tilly, sometime in the future - it really was a family affair - the studio in Bristol will not be quite the same without them all!
