Award-winning British actor and star of Homeland Damian Lewis looked great this week in Los Angeles for the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour. Sporting a newly-shaved head, he wore a classic navy suit and a crisp open-collared white shirt with matching white socks. The dapper finishing touch was the pale blue silk handkerchief emerging from his jacket pocket.
Damian sure likes his classic navies. Last year’s Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour also saw him wearing a white shirt/navy suit combination, but this time in a slightly lighter-colored fabric with a "sheen," possibly from silk or cashmere. Of course, neither of these appearances compares to his styling in the press shots for the short film he made this year with Jaguar and Ridley Scott. Whoever had the brainwave to dress him in a navy suit with a black narrow-collared shirt and a skinny navy tie should receive the Oscar for Best Costume Design. In more unfortunate news, Damian announced this week that his Homeland character might contemplate suicide in the next series: let’s hope it’s not the end for Nicholas Brody.
