Creativity, Culture, Class and Charm is what come to mind when I think of Cork, and where better to set up ‘A Suit That Fits’ second studio than right here.
Cork is fast becoming the place to be.
It has been named the Gourmet Capital of Ireland and also one of the main cultural hubs. It was voted as the best Irish city to live in by the Irish Times.
It has been declared one of the top ten cities in the World to visit by Top Travel Guide “The Lonely Planet” and they said that Cork is “sophisticated, vibrant and diverse, while still retaining its friendliness, relaxed charm and quick-fire wit.” How could you argue with that???
As manager of our Cork Studio, I want to show just how true this is and just how awesome we are in Ireland. We have passion, style and character and I feel it is time to put Ireland on the fashion map!!
I am inspired by nature, colour, individuality, imaginativeness, vision, talent and most of all fun.
Fashion for me is whatever makes a person feel good. As Coco Chanel once said: “The best colour in the world is the one that looks good on you.” There is nothing more attractive than a person who has a bit of creativity and a bit of style.
Remember: “Creativity is Intelligence having fun.”
Irish Celebrities I admire who have great style include:
Colin’s style makes him even more ruggedly handsome. He has influenced men all over the world with his style. His style is unique and almost bohemian-like. He will wear slick suits with a casual top underneath and is an avid fan of waist-coats; his is a relaxed style with minimal fuss.
Laura has the ability and confidence to wear just about anything and look amazing doing so. Her style is laid back with minimal fuss to her hair and make-up and effortless chic style. She is able to wear any colour, pretty much any style, has a unique way of styling herself and is definitely a trend setter. Laura is someone I would really enjoy cutting a suit for.
International Celebrities I admire who have great style:
One of the best things about Gosling is his ability to experiment with lots of different looks that break convention. He can be playful, as when he unexpectedly paired a paisley scarf with a leather jacket and tweed trousers, but is just as able at sporting more proper attire.
Elegance, class and beauty epitomise Blake Lively. She is known for looking chic and whimsical both on and off the red carpet. She is a modern day style icon and always looks effortlessly flawless. She gets my vote for most stylish lady.
I am also a photographer and I am excited to say that I will soon be hitting the streets of Cork and Dublin with my camera to capture the style of Irish ladies and gents. I’ve been keeping a close eye and I’m eager to show you all what I see. 🙂
